Four Tilting Methods of MF Induction Melting Furnace

The tilting mechanism of medium frequency induction melting furnace body has four modes: lifting tilting furnace, screw transmission mechanism tilting furnace, worm gear and worm mechanism tilting furnace and hydraulic device tilting furnace.
1. Lifting tilting furnace
The lifting type tilting furnace is to lift the lifting ring installed on the furnace frame through the lifting device on the crown block or special crane, so that the furnace body can be turned over to complete the tapping process. This method is simple and suitable for tapping in medium frequency induction furnace with small capacity.
2. Lead screw transmission mechanism tilting furnace
The motor drives the screw lifting device through the reducer to complete the turnover of the furnace body and thus complete the tapping process. This method is suitable for small capacity medium frequency induction furnace.
3. Tilt furnace of worm gear and worm mechanism
The worm gear and worm mechanism of the tilting furnace are connected with the horizontal axis of the furnace body rotation, and the worm gear and worm mechanism are driven by a motor to turn the furnace body over to complete the tapping process. This method is suitable for 1 ~ 3T capacity medium frequency induction furnace.
4. Tilting furnace of hydraulic device
Using single cylinder or double cylinder hydraulic system, the tilting of furnace body is completed through connecting rod mechanism. The hydraulic tilting furnace mechanism consists of high-pressure pump station, pipelines and switches, hydraulic piston cylinder and other components. This tilting mechanism has the advantages of fast start-up, stable operation and compact structure, and is an ideal tilting mechanism for large and medium-sized medium-frequency induction furnaces. During installation, attention should be paid to keeping a proper distance between the high-pressure pump station and the oil circuit and the furnace body to prevent fire caused by steel leakage or steel slag splashing of the induction furnace.
