Four tilting methods of MF induction melting furnace

There are four kinds of tilting mechanisms of intermediate frequency induction melting furnaces: lifting type tilting furnace, screw drive mechanism tilting furnace, worm gear, and worm mechanism tilting furnace and hydraulic device tilting furnace.

1、Hoisting tilting furnace

The lifting type tilting furnace is lifted by the lifting device on the crane or special crane, and the hoisting ring installed on the furnace frame is hoisted, so that the furnace body can be turned over to complete the steel production process. This method is simple and suitable for medium frequency induction furnaces with small capacity.

2、Lead screw drive mechanism tilting furnace

The motor is used to drive the lead screw lifting device through the reducer to complete the furnace body turnover and complete the steel production process. This method is suitable for small capacity medium frequency induction furnace steel.

3、worm gear and worm mechanism tilting furnace

The worm gear and worm mechanism of the tilting furnace are connected with the horizontal shaft of the furnace body rotation, and the worm gear and worm mechanism are driven by the motor to make the furnace body turn over and complete the steel production process. This method is suitable for 1~3 T capacity medium frequency induction furnace steel.

4、Hydraulic device tipping furnace

Using a single cylinder or double cylinder hydraulic system, the tilting of the furnace body is completed by connecting rod mechanism. Hydraulic tilting furnace mechanism consists of the high-pressure pumping station, pipe and switch, hydraulic piston-cylinder, and other components. This tilting mechanism has the advantages of quick start, smooth operation, and compact structure, and is an ideal tilting mechanism for large and medium frequency induction furnaces. Attention should be paid to the high-pressure pump station, oil line, and furnace body to maintain a proper distance, to prevent the induction furnace leakage or steel slag spatter caused by fire.
